Our Comfort Day service based in Rochdale specialises in providing support for those living with dementia and cognitive issues and their loved ones. We have an excellent reputation across our borough and pride ourselves on our unique, person centred approach.

What we do
Our Comfort Day service is a specialist day care service for people living with dementia and cognitive issues. We tailor activities to meet each service user’s needs and likes, provide nutritious home cooked meals, and encourage social interaction to make friends and prevent loneliness. We also go on regular trips in the community, allowing service users to integrate into society and feel a sense of purpose.
Our Comfort Days also offer caregivers that much needed break from their caring role, while your loved one is being looked after by our expert carers, it lets you take time out to look after yourself.
We accept both self funding referrals as well as adult care funding.

Preventing isolation
Our Comfort Day service encourages people to build friendships, provides company and prevents isolation.
Breaks for carers or families
As well as meeting the needs of our service users, we also aim to look after you. Our Comfort Days provide a much needed break for carers and families.
Tailored Activities
All our activities are tailored to meet our service users likes and needs. We have strong links with the Halle Orchestra, Get Up and Grow, gardening and pottery sessions.
