The yearly questionnaire has been redeveloped to reflect how primary care services are delivered and how patients experience primary care.
This yearly latest GP Patient Survey (January 2024 – March 2024) report was published in August 2024 and is reflective of the best and worst practices throughout the region and nationally. The survey has been redeveloped to look at how primary care services are managed, and the experience patients have of them. This includes the changes that are set out in the NHS England’s Delivery Plan for Primary Care Delivery plan for recovering access to primary care.
The survey asks a range of questions about your local GP practice services, last contact with the practice, the quality of care at the last appointment, overall questions about your current general health. How difficult it is to contact the practice, the quality of care received from a healthcare professional and experience of NHS services when your GP practice is closed as well as experience from pharmacy services and NHS dentistry.
All answers from the survey help the NHS to improve local health services for people like you and your family.
